The session aimed to enhance students’ professional competencies,preparing them for corporate challenges and career opportunities. The key objectives to organize the session like: To equip students with practical knowledge of interview techniques, to develop effective negotiation strategies for professional and personal contexts and to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations. The speaker emphasized the importance of self-presentation, confidence, and communication skills during interviews. Practical insights were shared on resume building, common interview questions, and handling stress. In the negotiation segment, students learned about win-win strategies, persuasion techniques, and conflict resolution. Interactive role-play activities and real-life case studies kept the session engaging and impactful. In the session both BBA and MBA students actively participated in discussions. Several students volunteered for mock interview and negotiation exercises, receiving constructive feedback from the speaker. The enthusiasm reflected their eagerness to apply these skills in real-world scenarios. Positively students gained valuable exposure to industry practices.The session boosted their confidence and prepared them for upcoming placement opportunities. The lecture successfully aligned with the department’s vision of holistic student development. The guest lecture on Interview and Negotiation Skills proved to be highly beneficial for management students. It not only enriched their knowledge but also provided practical tools to excel in professional settings.
