As the guidelines and directions received from the honorable supreme court regarding the Mental Health programs. Organized a Seminar on "MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMME " by Dr. Harpreet Kaur Assistant Professor from the Department of Education on 24 October 2025 at Sant Baba Bhag University. Under the Guidance of Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Dharmjit Singh Parmar, Respected Dean Dr. Aneet Kumar and Respected Dean Academics Dr. Vijay Dhir. This seminar aimed to aware the students about mental health and how to deal with mental health issues.
In this seminar, total 17 Students from B.Ed. stream and 16 Students from FashionDesigning department and 20 Faculty members participated in this activity. It aimed to aware the students about mental health and how to deal with mental health issues and detailed information was provided by Dr. Harpreet kaur on various aspects of mental health. In this seminar, students were also participated with poster making and speech on mental health. Overall, the Session emphasized on how to educate others about mental health and promote mental well-being also emphasized on Why Mental Health matters? How to be mentally healthy and tips to improve mental health?How mental health is related to make decisions and build positive relations in society?Students participated enthusiastically in this seminar.
