Debate competition on the theme “Teachings and Legacy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji”

The inter-departmental debate competition on the theme “Teachings and Legacy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji” was organised by the Department of History and Youth Welfare Department on 06-11-2025. The programme took place with the blessings of Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji (Founder Chancellor) and Sant Baba Dilawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji), and was organized under the guidance of Honourable Chancellor Sant Manmohan Singh Ji and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar. Dr. Hardev Kaur presented the welcome address. Dr. Aneet kumar( Dean UIE) and Dr. Harpreet Singh (HoD, UIH) attended the program. The faculty members of Department of History and Department of Youth Welfare viz. Dr. Hardev Kaur, Dr. Sameer Ahmad Bhat and Ms. Shaina Parmar hosted the program. Mr. Varinder Kumar, Ms. Parveen Kumari and Miss Gurpal Kaur were judges of the program. Almost 70 students attended the program in which Gitika Badhan(BA III Sem.) secured first position, Harkamal (BA Ist Sem.) secured the second position, Ranvir Kaur (BA III Sem.) and Priya (BA Ist Sem.) secured the third positions respectively.
Mrs.Shaina Parmar delivered the vote of thanks. He acknowledged the hard work of the participants.
