A seminar was conducted on the theme of Women Empowerment: Rights of Women under Various Civil and Criminal Laws on 18 September 2024 in Seminar Hall of Block 5 by Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar. The session was graced by the presence of Adv. Shiv Kumar Sonik as the Chief Guest for the event. With clarity, conviction and a deep sense of social responsibility, he addressed the girl students, explaining their rights, legal safeguards and the power they hold as women in society. The seminar witnessed the dignified presence of the Dr. Dharmjit Singh Parmar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SBBSU, Dr. Aneet Kumar, Registrar and Dean UIE, Dr. Vijay Dhir, Dean Academics and Deans of various institutes. The collective engagement of faculty, students and leadership elevated the seminar into a moment of learning, empowerment and institutional pride. Few glimpses of the event have been shared below.
