Techno-IDEA Fair 2025

Organized by UCA Club, Department of CSE and CSE AI & ML, SBBSU

Dates: 5th to 8th May 2025

Occasion: Celebration of World Technology Day

The Techno-IDEA (Innovation, Development, Engineering, and Application) Fair provided a platform for students to showcase software and hardware-based projects under the guidance of faculty mentors. With the leadership of Dr. Vijay Dhir, Dean Academics, and Dr. Jagdeep Kaur, Dean UIET & Head of CSE, the event was skillfully planned and executed by Er. Hitakshi, the Departmental Activity Incharge.

Event Summary

Day 1: Project Ideation and PPT Making

Students presented their innovative project ideas through detailed PowerPoint presentations. This session encouraged collaboration and constructive feedback. Facilitated by Er. Ramanpreet Kaur and Er. Gurjit Kaur, students refined their concepts and enhanced their presentation skills.

Day 2: Project Development and Display

Participants transformed ideas into real-world applications via software and hardware prototypes. A project display session allowed interaction with visitors and evaluators. Er. Manpreet Singh, Er. Tejinder Kaur, and Er. Hitakshi provided key technical and logistical support. Evaluations and insights were shared by Dr. Vijay Dhir and Dr. Jagdeep Kaur.

Day 3: Group Discussions on Latest Technologies

Students engaged in discussions on cutting-edge topics including AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Cybersecurity, and Blockchain. Moderated by Er. Akashdeep Singh, Er. Manpreet Singh, and Er. Kirandeep Kaur, the session promoted awareness and critical thinking on emerging trends.

Day 4: Reflection and Recognition

The concluding day emphasized reflection and appreciation. Under the guidance of Dr. Jagdeep Kaur, students evaluated their experiences and accomplishments. Er. Hitakshi expressed gratitude to all contributors during the vote of thanks ceremony.

Conclusion

The Techno-IDEA Fair 2025 was a resounding success that nurtured creativity, collaboration, and technical prowess among students. It stood as a testament to the effective synergy between students and faculty in celebrating World Technology Day.
