The Department of Management and Hotel Management of University Institute of Commerce and Management, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar has organized “Research Navigation Landscape: Strategies for Effective Review Literature and Publication” under the aegis of IQAC and IIC, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, the event was inaugurated by the Expert of the day Dr. Abhishek Sharma (Associate Professor, from Chandigarh University, Chandigarh). The expert briefly explained key definitions, significance of the research not only in the business but also in academics. He discussed the great research experience with the illustrations of research process. Furthermore, he discussed the various platforms for finding out the existing research from the various platforms like, SSRN, ResearchGate, Elsevier database and science Direct etc. In the second session, 2nd expert of the day Dr. Kanwarpreet Singh commences the session with the basics of Review Literature and framing the Manuscript. In this session the expert explains the various strategies for the writing review-based research papers and data analysis tools as per the methodology applied in the research papers. He deeply explains the procedure to extract the factors for setting the base for the research paper. Additionally, the expert explains the process of research methodology as per the requirement of the various journals patterens.

Conclusion:

This expert talk mainly focused on the enlightened the students, scholars and faculty with the basics of the research methodology in the first session and advance methodology in the second session. The session majorly focuses on the framing of the manuscripts and masters’ dissertations with the qualitative and quantitative data.
