With the heavenly blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji), the benign endorsement of our Chancellor Sant Baba Manmohan Singh ji, under the valuable guidance of respected Vice Chancellor of SBBSU (Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar, the students of the CSA Department successfully organized an MCQ Quiz Competition on 06 November 2025 on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Gurpurab. Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, was a great spiritual leader and social reformer. He preached the message of the Oneness of God, equality, truth, and selfless service. He strongly opposed caste discrimination and social evils, promoting harmony, peace, and brotherhood among people. His teachings of Naam Japna, Kirat Karni, and Vand Chakna guide humanity towards a righteous and meaningful life. His ideals continue to inspire people to live with compassion, humility, and unity.
Students participated in the competition with great interest and enthusiasm. The quiz helped participants gain deeper knowledge about the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Students from B.Sc. IT, B.Sc. Animation & Multimedia (AM), MCA, and BCA actively took part in the competition. The event promoted learning, awareness, and moral values among students in an engaging and interactive manner.
The event was successfully coordinated by Ms. Rajvir Kaur and Ms. Baljit Kaur. The judgment was impartially conducted by Dr. Nirmal Kaur, Deputy Dean of the CSA Department, and Dr. Saurabh Sharma, Head of the Department. The organizers expressed sincere gratitude to the judging faculty for their valuable time, guidance, and support, which contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the event.
Overall, the MCQ Quiz Competition was a meaningful and successful event that enriched students’ knowledge and celebrated the teachings and legacy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
