The fashion Designing Department organized a seminar on “Developing a business Plan in the Fashion Industry”, under the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), aimed at equipping students with entrepreneurial skills and insights into launching fashion-related ventures. The seminar was held at Language Lab, Block no.03, with participation from students, faculty, and guest speakers from the fashion and business industries. The primary objective was to educate aspiring fashion designers on the importance of business planning and to guide them through the process of building a successful fashion brand or startup. The seminar focused on practical aspects such as market research, branding, financial planning, and sustainability in fashion entrepreneurship. The session was conducted by Ms. Jasneet Kaur, Pidilite Fevicryl, FCP fevicryl certified professional shared her expertise on various aspects of business Plan, innovation, and entrepreneurship. During the seminar, Ms.Jasneet Kaur showcased successful fashion business plan through a ppt, the seminar was a great success, offering a valuable blend of knowledge and inspiration. It reflected the department’s commitment to preparing students not only as designers but also as future entrepreneurs. Participants appreciated the interactive format and expresses interest in more such industry-oriented programs.
