University Institute of Agriculture organized a one-day seminar on the theme of “Emerging innovation Technologies in Agriculture ' on May 2, 2025. Dr. J. S. Brar, Rtd. Professor in Entomology, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhianawas the resource person for the event. He described the Emerging technologies are transforming insect research and environmental surveillance. Utilizing AI to analyze DNA, images, sounds, and flight patterns, we can unlock novel insights into the insect world. Along with this Dr. Hitesh Kumar and Dr. Sunil Kumar also described about new innovations in horticulture and floriculture. About 140 students from department participated in the seminar. All members of organizing committees made sincere and coordinated efforts for the planning and execution of the event.
