The Department of Management and Hotel Management of University Institute of Commerce and Management, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar has organized ““Magnify Work Productivity and Formal Communication” under the aegis of IQAC and IIC, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University. The event was organized in the sake of World Employee Productivity Day, the event was inaugurated by the Expert of the day Ms. Amandeep Kaur. The expert briefly explained the key highlights of the role and value of the employee in the business and industry, followed by the importance and significance of the productivity. The expert throws the light on the various strategies adopted by the companies to magnify the productivity not only among the employees, staff but also management. In the second session, 2nd expert of the day Ms. Swati Puri explained the essentials of communication in the daily routine life and its vitalness on the workplace. In the session the expert highlights the key importance and strategies to build up the strong base for the Formalcommunication which include the contemporary English language vocabulary, Grammer and choice of the words to speak in the public speaking and in the written communication also. Additionally expert discuss about the various methos which the students needed to adopt for the improvement in their communication skills and productivity.

Conclusion:

This expert talk mainly focused on the enlightened the students with importance of the communication for enhancing the work productivity. In the session both experts highlighted the various key concepts of communication skills and the role of communiqué in the work productivity and workplace management. Additionally, the session full with the questions-answers, students enthusiastically participated in the expert talk and able to find out the solutions to their different kind of the queries related to written and Formal communication.
