The Department of Management and Hotel Management of University Institute of Commerce and Management, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar has organized “Journey Idea to Impact: Accelerators and Incubation Opportunities for Entrepreneurial Opportunities” under the aegis of IQAC and IIC, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, the event was inaugurated by the Expert of the day Dr. Arvind Dhingra (Director, Science and Technology Entrepreneurial Park) STEP_GNDEC Ludhiana. The Session inaugurated with the introductory speech about the entrepreneur, entrepreneurship and incubation facilities. The expert starts with the introduction about the institution STEP i.e., Science and Technology Entrepreneurial Park facilitated by Government of India. Established in the GNDEC Ludhiana. The expert stated the various facilities provided by the Incubation Centre, in the premises of STEP. Furthermore, the expert shared some success stories from the incubation center on the national and international level. Additionally, Dr. Arvind Dhingra explains the importance of the idea, idea selection, idea screening and idea finalizing. Besides this he explains the various schemes to facilitates the entrepreneurs and various opportunities provided by Government of India and on International Level with funding in addition to other facilities.

Conclusion:

This one-day workshop focusses on the entrepreneurship rather job opportunities. In this session, the students enlighten with the various incubation facilities provided by the STEP facilitated by the both state government and center government. Additionally, they specified the procedure to start the business and become an entrepreneur. In the valedictory Dr. Varinderjeet Singh (Assistant Professor, CoD Management Dept.
