Independence Day Celebration
The university celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The occasion was marked by a spectacular lighting display that transformed the campus, symbolizing national pride and unity. The main highlight was the Tiranga-themed lighting on the prominent building of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, which was beautifully illuminated with tricolor lights representing the Indian flag. This special lighting arrangement was carried out by the Department of Agriculture, under the University Institute of Agriculture, as part of the celebrations. The theme for this year's celebration was “Har Ghar Tiranga,” encouraging every individual and household to proudly hoist the national flag and express their patriotism. The event aimed to instill a sense of national pride among students, faculty, staff, and visitors. It also emphasized the importance of unity in diversity and the collective efforts required to uphold the values of independence and patriotism. The lighting was complemented by cultural programs, national anthems, and speeches that reflected the spirit of independence.
