Report on Activities Conducted Under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025 From 2nd august to 15th August, 2025.
In alignment with the directives of the National Implementation Committee, Ministry of Education (Department of Higher Education), SBBS University actively participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, aimed at fostering patriotism, cultural pride, and unity among students. The Programme was implemented in three phases, covering creative, educational, cultural, and community outreach initiatives.
Phase 1: 2nd – 8th August 2025
Tiranga Rangoli Competitions (06-08-2025) – Conducted across all departments; students created designs featuring the national flag and patriotic motifs.

Tiranga Rakhi-Making Workshops (08-08-2025) – Organized by Fine Arts & NSS; rakhis sent to security personnel of as a gesture of gratitude.

Participation in National Quiz on Tiranga (MyGov) (08-08-2025) – NSS facilitated registration and participation, enhancing awareness of the national flag.

Phase 2: 9th – 12th August 2025 Tiranga Yatra / Rallies (12-08-2025) – NSS & NCC led a patriotic march within campus and nearby villages, engaging local communities. International youth Day was celebrated on (12-08-2025) rising issues like unemployment, education and mental health etc.

Impact & Outcomes: More than 70 % of students participated in at least one activity. Many creative entries were displayed on campus. Local communities joined the Tiranga Yatra, enhancing civic unity. SBBS University successfully integrated cultural heritage with modern engagement, fostering genuine patriotic fervour and unity in alignment with the Government’s vision.

Phase 1: 2nd – 8th August, 2025
Tiranga Rangoli Competitions conducted across all departments; students created designs featuring the national flag and patriotic motifs. Sant Baba Bhag Singh (SBBS) University organized an "Inter-institute Tiranga Rangoli Competition" on (06-08-2025). The event, held at Block 5, UIET, was a collaborative effort of the Student Council and various institutes within the university. The competition saw a total of 18 participants creating designs that showcased their creativity and talent.
Winners of the competition included:
First Place: Anmol and Simranjeet Kaur from B. Tech CSE (AI&ML)
Runner-Up: Arshpreet Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, Amandeep Kaur, and Simran from B.Sc FD
The event provided a platform for students to display their artistic skills.

Phase 1: 2nd – 8th August 2025
Tiranga Rakhi-Making Workshops – Organized by Fine Arts & NSS; Rakhi’s sent to security personnel as a gesture of gratitude. The Fine Arts and NSS departments SBBS University recently collaborated to organize a special Tiranga Rakhi-Making Workshop on (08-08-2025), as detailed in Annexure II. This event was a heartfelt expression of patriotism and gratitude, bringing students together to create symbolic rakhis adorned with the colors of the national flag. Students participated with great enthusiasm, crafting each rakhi to be a unique token of appreciation. The handmade rakhis were made for the security personnels, serving as a powerful gesture of thanks for their selfless service and dedication. The workshop not only showcased the students' artistic talents but also instilled a sense of national pride and respect for the armed forces and other security guardians. This initiative successfully combined creative expression with a meaningful social cause.

Participation in National Quiz on Tiranga (MyGov) – NSS facilitated registration and participation, enhancing awareness of the national flag. The NSS wing of Sant Baba Bhag Singh (SBBS) University took the lead in facilitating the registration and participation of students in the National Quiz on Tiranga, conducted on the MyGov platform. As noted in Annexure III, this initiative aimed to deepen students' understanding of the history, symbolism, and significance of India's national flag. The quiz served as an engaging and educational tool, allowing students to test their knowledge and learn new facts about the Tiranga. By encouraging widespread participation, the NSS department successfully enhanced patriotic awareness among the student body. This event was a meaningful way to celebrate national pride and ensure that the next generation remains well-informed about the heritage and values represented by our flag.

Tiranga Yatra / Rallies (12-08-2025)– NSS & NCC led a patriotic march within campus and nearby villages. National flags are distributed among the residents of the villages.

Selfie with Tiranga Campaign (13-08-2025) – Students uploaded photos with the national flag on www.harghartiranga.com. About 600 selfies have been taken during the Campaign.
