An expert lecture on “Life Lessons of Management from the Life of Lord Krishna” was organized by the Department of Commerce, SBBSU on August 20, 2025. The session was conducted in Block 7, Room No. 106, and was graced by the presence of Ms. Manpreet, an eminent speaker and resource person. The lecture aimed to explore how the teachings and life events of Lord Krishna can be applied to modern management practices and leadership skills. Ms. Manpreet elaborated on various aspects such as decision-making, conflict resolution, strategic thinking, effective communication, time management, and ethical leadership, drawing parallels from the Bhagavad Gita and episodes from Krishna’s life. The session was highly interactive, as students participated actively in discussions and shared their perspectives on applying Krishna’s management principles in personal and professional life. The resource person emphasized that true management lies in balancing duties, relationships, and self-awareness, just as Krishna guided Arjuna with wisdom and clarity. Ample of students from the Commerce Department attended the lecture. The feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive, as they found the session insightful, motivating, and relevant to their academic as well as practical life. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the department, appreciating Ms. Manpreet for her valuable insights and the students for their enthusiastic participation.
