Department of Civil Engineering of UIET Organized Webinar on Railway Engineering (Basic to Update). Objectives of the webinar are:

  • Introduce various types of surveys instruments required for railway track construction and maintenance in order to have safe and efficient train movements.
  • Impart basic knowledge of railway track components and their functions.
  • Introduce geometric design, points and crossings, track resistances, signaling and control system.
  • Learn advancement in railway stations, yards, modernization of railways and high speed trains.
