With the heavenly blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji), with the benign endorsement of Sant Sarwan Singh Ji (Chancellor) and under the guidance of Dr. Dharmjit Singh Parmar (Hon’ble Vice Chancellor) under the aegis of Institution Innovation Council, Department of Agriculture organized National Farmer’s Day (22nd December, 2021) with the theme ‘IGNITING YOUNG MINDS THROUGH INNOVATIVE FARMERS’. The renowned scientists Dr. R.K Nanwal (Retd. Professor Agronomy), Dr. V.K Phogat (Retd. Professor Soil Science), Dr. K.S Bangarwa (ICAR-Emeritus Professor) and Dr. Ombir (Retd. Professor Entomology) from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University; Hisar, shed light on Integrated Farming System, stubble burning, soil health and Integrated Pest Management. Also, the students were made aware of national and international scholarship programmes, job opportunities and entrepreneurship in various fields of Agriculture. More than ten farmers and nearly hundred students attended the programme. Later on, a special session was conducted for farmers and students interaction with the scientists in which their problems were discussed and possible solutions were suggested. Faculty members too participated and gained knowledge on key aspects associated with the Agriculture.
