Continuing with the legacy of providing quality education to the students especially from the rural areas SBBS university endeavors organize seminars, workshops, training programs, lectures in the premises of the SBBS University. University Institute of Law with the blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dilawar Singh Ji (Brahm ji) and the endorsement of Chancellor Sant Baba Manmohan Singh Ji, we have organized one day seminar under the esteemed guidance of our respected Vice-Chancellor Sir, Prof. (Dr.) Dharamjit Singh Parmar, along with Dean Academics, Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Dhir and Prof. (Dr.) Aneet Kumar we are honored to witness you to a celebration of World Book and Copyright Day which is on 23rd April,2024
Our distinguished resource persons , Dr. Pankaj and Dr. Kiranjit Bali, have shared their expertise on copyright law, they have shared their expert views on values, significance of World books and copyright day besides the role of Indian organizations Office of Controller General of Patents,Design & Trade marks Department Indian Patent Office, (Department for Promotion of Industry and Trade)viding DPIIT and, international organizations like ( World Intellectual Property Organization) WIPO and others providing valuable insights to our students.
Additionally, Dr. Pooja Bali, Associate Professor cum Deputy Dean/UIL, enlightened us on the importance of books and intellectual property with a specific focus on copyright law.In the end the event was concluded with a vote of thanks.The few glimpse of the event are:-

In his inaugural address, the Chief Guest of the Day, Prof. (Dr.) Adarsh Pal Vig, Chairman, Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) and Professor, Department of Botanical and Environmental Sciences, Guru Nanak Dev University, mentioned that “Be part of the plan” is the theme of this year's International Day for Biological Diversity, which is marked on May 22, urging collective efforts across countries and sectors. NCC UNIT of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University Jalandhar organized an Extension Activity in Khanaura village.
