Name of the Resource Person: Ms. Anita Saini

The Department of Management and Hotel Management of University Institute of Commerce and Management, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar has organized “2-Days Workshop on Entrepreneurial & Career Opportunities in Financial Markets” under the aegis of IQAC and IIC, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University. The event was inaugurated with expert talk by the Expert of the day Ms. Anita Saini. The pupils took a pre-assessment quiz to start the session. The renowned specialist with extensive expertise in the banking, finance, and security markets. She generated investment options over the four sessions by applying her highly specialized understanding of money multiplication. She described the many securities market occurrences and the options for an individual to earn money both actively and passively.

Day 2: Name of the Resource Person: Mr. Nagesh (CS)

On the 2nd day the expert of the day Mr. Nagesh (CS) resumes the workshop, The four sections of the session are the same as in the last one. Mr. Nagesh, the session's expert, emphasized the significance of securities and other investing trends. The expert talks about the many important aspects of investing in the businesses. The expert also discussed the significance of initial public offerings (IPOs) and the process of issuing them. The asset management and mutual fund businesses were also the session's focal point. Finally, when the session comes to a close, there are a number of job openings and certifications offered by different intuitions, including NISM. The expert listed a variety of job prospects, including those for bankers, asset management firms, and distributors of mutual funds.

Conclusion:

The primary goal of this course was to educate the students on the fundamentals of the securities market. Eight seminars were attended by the experts on both days. The two days' courses, which were further broken into four sessions each, addressed the several facets of income investing and returns. During the very interactive expert discussion, several students discussed their questions and concerns with the professionals. Students can improve their understanding of the securities market by taking the post-assessment exam at the end of the program. In the last Dr. Ajay Kumar Pathania Dy. Dean, UICM, facilitate the experts of the 2-days workshop on Financial Literacy and Career Awareness. Additionally, Dy. Dean congratulate and appreciate the students for their effort and enlightened the students with the importance of investment and motivate the students to understand the market, risk and to early start to earn money from Security Market additionally the efforts of Ms. Kuljeet Kaur (A.P. Management Department UICM, Stage Coordinator), Dr. Gagandeep S. Salhan (A.P. Management Department UICM, Activity Co-Coordinator) and Dr. Varinderjeet Singh (COD Management Department UICM, Activity Coordinator) were appreciated by the Dy. Dean for the organizing such an informative session.
