The bond between a mother and her child is the only real and purest bond in the world, the only true love we can ever find in our lifetime, to honor mothers and motherhood the department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with UCA club and under the aegis of IQAC celebrated Mothers Day on 10th May, 2022.
With the blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh ji (Brahm ji), and with the benign endorsement of our Respected Chancellor Sant Baba Sarwan Singh ji, under the able guidance of Respected Vice Chancellor Sir, Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar and with the support of Dr. Vijay Dhir, Dean UIET and Director IQAC the day was marked with speeches, dance performances, skits, poems and songs
Dr. Dharmjit Singh Parmar congratulated all faculty members and students on Mother’s day. He discussed the role of a mother as a teacher, friend, guide in the upbringing of a child. The way she spends her life to fulfill the dreams of her child, and educates him to be a good citizen of the country.
Dr. Y.C Sood, Professor in the department of English read a beautiful poem on mother’s day. Followed to it, Ms. Kiran and Ms. Rinki, presented poem, dedicated to sacrifices of mother. Ms. Rukmanpreet Kaur, Ms. Anu, Ms. Priyanka and Ms. Kalpana came forward with speeches. Ms. Priya, Ms. Mandeep, Ms. Neha participated in skit and dance. Ms. Simran presented song and Ms. Vaishnavi participated in dance. Anchoring of the event was conducted and managed by Ms. Navneet kaur and Ms. Priyanka. Mr. Deepak and Mr. Hardeep Singh coordinated along with others to manage the complete event.
The Head of the department and Dy. Dean UIET, Dr. Jagdeep Kaur, thanked all teaching and non-teaching faculty for preparing students so well. She also congratulated students for always making the department proud.
