Mehandi Queen Contest-2022

Objectives:

• To inculcate among the learners interest in traditional customs of India.
• To enhance the creativity & imagination in the field of art.
• To boost their confidence in the art.

Highlights:

• The Activity Committee, Girls Hostel, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU), Jalandhar, organized a Mehandi Queen Contest on 21st April, 2022.
• Students enthusiastically participated in the competition and displayed their artistic designs through an array of mehendi.
• In the end, the contest was won by Ms. Manpreet Kaur of MSc FD (2nd sem).
• The second position was achieved by Ms. Komalpreet of MSc Horticulture (4th sem).
• The third position was grabbed by Ms. Anjali of BSc Agriculture (4th sem). Overall, the contest was a huge success.
