One day educational trip to Mohali

One day educational trip was organized by University Institute of Humanities (Fashion Designing Department). This trip was about visiting a designer store-“KIREN SANDHU DESIGNER” and a footwear’s embroidery unit name “TAUR JUTTI”. Ms. Kiren Sandhu from KSD demonstrated the work of a designer under a store. She elaborated all the steps starting from design development, sourcing , manufacturing and marketing worldwide. Students of Fashion Designing department bear in mind about different varieties of suits and dresses.

Mr. Parvinder Singh from TAUR JUTTI explained how to create and trace a design from the thought or an idea very well. Students observed the working of embroidery master.Students get motivated by this educational trip, which will encourage them to do better in their future and will have a secure future fashion business worldwide.
