Webinar on Intellectual Property Rights

With the heavenly blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji), the benign endorsement of Chancellor, SBBSU, Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji, under the able guidance of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, SBBSU, Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar the department of Physical Sciences and life Sciences& allied health sciences in collaboration with IPR SBBSU Cell and SBBSU Innovation Cell under the aegis of IQAC organized a webinar on “Intellectual Property Rights”, on 11/11/2021. Mrs. Pooja Kumar, Registered Patent Agent (Govt. Of India), Founder and director of Innovative Intellect LLP, Gaziabad was the resource person. Ms Pooja Kumar is a Registered Patent Agent and Start-up facilitator of Govt. of India. She holds more than 15 years of experience in Intellectual Property Rights Field. She has filed more than 500 Patents. She has delivered more than 200 Awareness programs related to Intellectual Property Rights. Recently in 2020, she is recognized as top women consultants for her contribution in the field of IPR. She has empanelled with Gujarat Innovation Council. She is not only creating IP awareness in India but also working for international countries. Recently she is invited as panelist in Nigeria for one IP radio station.

More than 100 participants of different streams of masters and PhD scholars have attended the webinar. The entire lecture was very interactive and informative for the participants. Webinar commenced with the welcome address by Dr Vikrant Jaryan, Co-Convener of IPR cell SBBSU. Expert has highlighted various points during the webinar : Different types of Intellectual properties Rights and elaborated the process of filling the patents, copy rights etc. ➢ Expert has motivated faculty members and research students to gain knowledge about IPR and try to file patents. Students have enthusiastically participated in Q/A session as well. The webinar was highly informative and motivational for students and Faculty. Webinar was concluded with Vote of thanks by Dr Nisha Sharma and Dr Shweta Singh, Conveners of the Webinar. There is no registration fee for the webinar. e-Certificates have been issued to all the participants on the successful participation and submission of Feedback form of the Webinar (Feedback form provided at the end of the online session).
