World Pneumonia Day

The Department of Life Sciences & Allied Health Sciences, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar, arranged a lecture "World Pneumonia Day" on 12th October, 2021 (12:00 pm onwards) with the heavenly blessings of Sant Baba Dilawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) under the supervision and patronage of Honorable Chancellor, Sant Sarwan Singh Ji and Worthy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar.

During the lecture, Life Sciences & Allied Health Sciences in collaboration with NSS Unit arranged an activity to aware the students regarding the pneumonia to approximately 80 students of the Life Sciences and Allied Health Sciences department.

• During the lecture, Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) faculty (Ms. Sonia Sharma) explained the symptoms, types, causes, risk management and precautions for pneumonia through presentation.
• Student from M.Sc. Zoology (Wasim), gave a lecture on the mode of infection & precautions for pneumonia.
• At the conclusion, group discussion and doubt clearing session was done regarding the disease pneumonia.

Visit to JSS Ashakiran Special School
