Moot Court Competition

Date: 17-12-2021

Upon Receiving directions from Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar with reference to the District Legal Service Authority program Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, University Institute of Law Organised Moot Court Competition. For that class in-charges were given responsibility to formulate teams out of each semester and were also instructed to prepare the moot problems for the same. Moot memorials were commonly based on the Restitution of Conjugal Rights, Entitlement of Maintenance etc. On the day of 09 November, 2021 University Institute of Law, SBBSU conducted Moot Court Competition, which was adjudged in the presence of Head of Department Dr. Seema Garg along with other members as well. At the end of Moot Court Competition Adjudicating authority declared its result and finalized the winners of moot court competition. The winning teams of moot memorial are as given below
1st Position:- 9th Semester
Name of Participants:- Neha, Gurinder, Manpreet, Kapila
2nd Position:- 5th Semester, and few students from 3rd semester and 1st semester as well
Name of Participants:- Kiran 5th semester, Raman Rai, Ashlesha 3rd semester, Ajay 1st semester.
