Workshop ON “Artificial Intelligence"

With the heavenly blessings of Sant Baba Dlawar Singh ji, Brahm ji and with the benign endorsement of Chancellor, Sant Baba Sarwan Singh ji, and under the able guidance of worthy Vice Chancellor, Professor (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar, a workshop on "Artificial Intelligence ", was successfully organized on 16th Dec. 2021, by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University Institute of Engineering and Technology, under the aegis of IQAC, IIC, Ultimate Computer alliance Club and Capacity Development and Skill Enhancement cell. The event was organized by the CSE department under an MOU that has been signed between the University and the Itronix solutions. The goal of the workshop was to make participants understand the challenges in Artificial Intelligence.

Around 100 participants comprising of Faculty and Students of Computer Science and Engineering Department, participated in this workshop. The resource person of the workshop was Er. Karan Arora, Founder & C.E.O of Itronix Solutions. He is a Chief Data Scientist and corporate trainer.

The key takeaway of the workshop was to instill in the students the mindset of more innovative ideas for problem solving rather than the traditional ones. Guiding students through applications of Artificial learning using python, with an aim of boosting upon the programming skills with live demonstrations. This workshop gave an outline of the latest AI trends with regard to technology, use cases and the various business verticals along with an introduction to the AI framework called the Scikit-Learn and implementing a Machine Learning model using Python programming language in Jupyter Notebook
