“Cleanliness is next to Godliness”
With the heavenly blessings of Reverend Sant Baba Malkit Singh ji, Reverend Sant Baba Dlawar Singh ji (Brahm Ji) and with the benign endorsement of Respected Chancellor, Sant Baba Manmohan Singh ji, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was organized in UIET on 5th Dec., 2023.
The drive took place under the able guidance of Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar.
The department of Computer Science and Engineering, the department of Mechanical Engineering, the department of Electrical Engineering and the department of Civil Engineering of University Institute of Engineering and Technology, contributed in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan activity and undertook cleanliness drive. Almost 85 Students from various semesters and 20 teaching and non-teaching staff members participated in this event.
The department of CSE, UIET conducted cleanliness drive in the Computer Laboratories, 1st floor and in the lecture rooms- R-220, R-222, R-330 and R-323 situated in Block no.5. Total 50 students participated in the event.
The department of EE, UIET conducted cleanliness drive in Electrical Machines laboratory, R-117A and R-117B, R-323A and R-323B in Block No-5. Total 15 students participated in the event.
The department of ME, UIET conducted cleanliness drive in R-208, R-210. Total 10 students participated in the event.
The department of CE, UIET conducted cleanliness drive outside block no.5 and R-107, R-212 of block No-5. Total 10 students participated in the event.
The students and faculty of UIET initiated one step towards “Cleanliness”.
