5 Days Training Programee on “FINANCIAL EDUCATION FOR YOUNG CITIZEN”

The University Institute of Commerce and Management, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar in collaboration with National Institute of Securities Market (NISM) an Institute of SEBI, organized 5 days training programee on Topic “FINANCIAL EDUCATION FOR YOUNG CITIZEN” under the supervision of Honorable Chancellor, Sant Sarwan Singh Ji and Vice Chancellor Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar from 7th September to 11th September 2021 under the aegis of IQAC, SBBSU. In order to inculcate the financial literacy concept among the job-oriented youth through financial education, to make the students aware about the career opportunities available in Securities Market and to enhance their ability of employability in financial sector, the final year students of M.Com, MBA and BBA attended this event. Mrs. Anita Saini was the Resource Person for this 10-hour training programee. The entire programee was conducted in five sessions. Mrs. Anita Saini emphasized on the role of Investment and Mutual Funds. She also discussed the various aspects of financial literacy, primary and secondary market, sip over lump-sum and rule of 72. About 55 Students from M.Com, MBA and BBA final year attended this programme. At the end of the event an online assessment was conducted in the form of quiz and E-Certificates were awarded to all the participants. In the last session Dr Munish Gupta delivered a vote of thanks to our respected speaker Mrs. Anita Saini for sharing her valuable knowledge and expertise with the students.
