The Sant Baba Bhag Singh Memorial Charitable Society, under the visionary leadership of Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji, has been committed to the holistic development of society by providing essential infrastructure facilities to the people residing in and around Dera Sant Pura Jabbar, near Adampur Doaba, District Jalandhar. The Society has actively contributed to regional development through initiatives such as the construction of roads and bridges and the provision of street lighting in nearby villages.
Guided by the vision, “To encourage each and every child to get educated, acquire knowledge and wisdom so as to learn the art of leading a happy, successful, and meaningful life,” the Society expanded its efforts into the field of higher education, culminating in the establishment of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University through a legislative act of the State Government.
Sant Baba Bhag Singh University is running its technical and professional programs in accordance with the norms and guidelines prescribed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The University offers education through its Departments of Engineering and Technology, Management, Computer Applications, and Hotel Management and Catering Technology, focusing on academic excellence, skill development, research orientation, and industry relevance.
With modern infrastructure, a pollution-free and drug-free campus, a strong teaching–learning ecosystem, and active participation of students and faculty in academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities, the University fosters a value-based educational environment.
