Rakhi Making Competition

The “Rakhi Making Competition” has been contacted at Sant Baba Bhag Singh University on dated 26 th August 2026 which was organized by Fashion Designing Department under prior permission and guidance Dean of UIH/HOD Dr. Mandeep Singh. All faculty members were coordinated the event for great success. All students of Fashion Designing department were participants in this event. The competition was organized to provide students an opportunity to showcase their creativity, designing skill and innovative ideas through handmade Rakhi designs.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participants from the students. Participants prepared beautiful and creative rakhi’s using different materials, colors, decorative elements, threads, beads, embellishments and other craft materials. The students demonstrated their artistic abilities and presented unique designs while maintaining the traditional essence of Rakhi.
The competition was judged on the basis on creativity, originality, aesthetic appeal, neatness and overall presentation. Students were actively participated in the competition and displayed excellent craftsmanship and innovative thinking.
