With the heavenly blessings of Reverend Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji and Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) and the benign endorsement of Hon’ble Chancellor, Sant Baba Manmohan Singh Ji, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (UIET), Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, under the guidance of Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Dhir and Dean UIET Prof. (Dr.) Jagdeep Kaur, successfully organized a Workshop on “AI Agents: Building Real-World AI Agents using n8n” for B.Tech CSE (AI & ML) 2nd Semester students and a Python Programming session for B.Tech CSE 2nd Semester students. The workshop was delivered by experts from Ansh Info Tech Company and was designed to provide students with hands-on exposure to emerging technologies while strengthening their programming and automation skills in alignment with current industry demands.
The AI Agents workshop focused on introducing students to the concept of intelligent automation using n8n, a powerful workflow automation tool. The experts demonstrated how real-world AI agents can be built by integrating APIs, automating tasks, and creating intelligent workflows without extensive coding. Students were exposed to practical use cases such as automated email responses, chatbot workflows, data processing pipelines, and integration of AI models into real-life applications. The session emphasized how AI agents are transforming industries by improving efficiency, reducing manual effort, and enabling smart decision-making systems.
Simultaneously, the Python Programming session aimed at strengthening the foundational coding skills of B.Tech CSE 2nd semester students. The session covered core Python concepts including variables, data types, control structures, functions, and basic problem-solving techniques. The trainers also demonstrated how Python can be applied in real-world scenarios such as data handling, automation, and introductory AI-based tasks. Hands-on examples and live coding exercises helped students understand the practical implementation of concepts and improve their logical thinking abilities.
The workshop was highly interactive and practice-oriented, with students actively participating in coding exercises, workflow creation, and live demonstrations. The experts encouraged students to ask questions and provided guidance on academic projects, helping them clear their doubts and gain confidence in applying their knowledge. The integration of AI tools with programming concepts created a comprehensive learning experience for students across both domains.
Faculty members appreciated the initiative for its relevance and industry alignment, as it provided students with exposure to both advanced technologies like AI agents and essential programming skills like Python. The session also highlighted career opportunities in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, automation engineering, software development, and data science, motivating students to explore these domains further.
