Activity Report
With the blessings of Sant Baba Dalwar Singh Ji and the support of our
Chancellor Sant Baba Manmohan Singh, the trip was organized under the
guidance of the Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Dhir.
The students of the Computer Science and Applications (CSA) Department,
University Institute of Computer Science and Applications (UICA), organized
an educational trip to Anandpur Sahib and Virasat-e-Khalsa. A total of 60
students participated in this trip along with faculty members.
The trip started in the morning from the university campus. All students were
very excited and reached on time. The journey was comfortable, and students
enjoyed travelling together. They followed all the instructions given by the
teachers and maintained proper discipline throughout the trip.
After reaching Anandpur Sahib, students visited the holy Gurudwara and paid
their respects. They felt peaceful and happy in the spiritual environment. After
that, the group visited Virasat-e-Khalsa museum. The museum displays the
history of Sikhism in a very interesting and simple way through pictures,
models, and audio-visual shows.
Students learned many important things about Sikh history, culture, and the
teachings of the Gurus. It helped them understand the sacrifices and values of
our Gurus. The visit was very informative and increased their knowledge.
The final-year students especially enjoyed the trip, as it gave them a chance to
spend quality time with their classmates and create beautiful memories before
completing their studies.
The whole trip was well-organized, and everything was managed properly. All
students behaved well and showed good discipline during the visit. At the end
of the day, all students returned safely to the university campus.
Overall, the trip was very enjoyable, educational, and memorable for all the
students. It helped them learn new things and also relax from their regular
studies.
