One-Day Educational Trip to Amritsar

Educational tours provides valuable insights into India's heritage, history, and traditions, with focus on significant historical events and cultural practices. Department of Education organized a one-day educational trip to Amritsar Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh and Punjab State War Heroes’ Memorial Museum on March 17, 2026. A total number of 57 students from B.Ed. second and. fourth semester along with 4 teachers Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Ms. Shalu Mahey, Ms. Sukhmeet Kaur and Ms. Sakshi visited from the department of education.


This tour combines fun, learning, and new experiences, with a focus on understanding India's past,traditions, and values through real places and experiences. The Student visited Golden Temple and they grasped the greatness and importance of Sikhism. At, Jallianwala Bagh, they understood India’s struggle for Independence. At, War memorial, 7D show, warfare techniques, weapon gallery were the main attractions. Overall, the trip was great blend of learning, culture and fun.
