Objectives:

• To challenge the students’ analytical, logical, and creative thinking as they put their knowledge and talents together to create a more intricate, in-depth understanding of the game.
• To improve the students' capability for problem-solving and judgement.
• To direct one's thought process in the appropriate direction.

Highlights:

• The Dynamic Drillers Club, Electrical Engineering Department, UIET, SBBSU, Jalandhar, organized Chess Competition-2026, on 25th August, 2026.
• A total of 06 students (Anmol 5th EE, Saksham Bhardwaj 3rd EE, Dhruv Sharma 3rd EE, Amritpal Singh 5th CE, Deepak Kumar 1st EE, Ankush 1st CE) participated in this competition.
• The winner of the Chess competition was Saksham Bhardwaj (Registration No.: 26110001) of B. Tech EE 3rd Sem.
• The runner up of the competition was Deepak Kumar (Registration No.:26006004) of B. Tech EE 1st Sem.
