Activity Report
With the heavenly blessings of Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) and the benign endorsement of our worthy Chancellor Sant Baba Manmohan Singh Ji, and under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar, Vice Chancellor, Mr. (Prof.) Rajinder Kumar, Registrar, and Dr. Vijay Dhir, Dean Academics, the Civil Engineering Department, under the “Nirmaan Club”, celebrated Children’s Day on 14 November 2025.
Children’s Day marks the 125th birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, who was deeply fond of children and dedicated his birthday to them. To commemorate this occasion, the department organized the following events:
In the first event, Passing the Parcel, students participated with great enthusiasm. Each participant picked a chit and performed the activity written on it. The room was filled with laughter and excitement as students showcased their funny and entertaining acts.
The second event, Chess Competition, saw the participation of 8 students divided into 4 groups. The winners from each group were:
The winners were appreciated for their efforts and game skills. After the completion of all events, snacks were served to all the students.
The celebration proved to be a delightful break for the students, allowing them to relax and enjoy themselves amid their hectic academic schedules. A total of 20 students enthusiastically participated in the event. The dedication and cooperation of all faculty members played a vital role in making the event a success.
