About Annual Convocation

Sant Baba Bhag Singh University is excited to announce its 5th Annual Convocation, scheduled to be held on 18th December 2024. This prestigious event will celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of the graduating students, who will be awarded their degrees in the presence of esteemed guests and faculty members. Distinguished dignitaries will grace the occasion, sharing their insights and words of encouragement to inspire the graduates as they step into the next phase of their lives. This memorable event will mark a significant milestone, reflecting the university’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. All students who successfully completed their final year examinations in June 2024 are requested to register by 5th December 2024

Ceremonial Dress Code

Colour White - Mandatory for all

Male: Kurta Pyjama only
Female: Salwar Suit only

Kurta Length: Knee Length
Sleeves (Kurta) Length: Full (For females only - Length of sleeves can be full or 3/4th)

Shoes: Black formal only (No casuals, sandals, slippers, etc.)
Fabric: Handspun cotton / Khadi / Cotton
Dupatta and Turban: Navy Blue only
Stitching Style: Nehru Style only

Please note: Students without dress code will not be allowed to attend both the rehearsals and Convocation.

Attendance mandatory for all staff members (both teaching and non-teaching) involved in Convocation. Kindly arrange the same.

Vendor will provide only stoles (as per Programme Code) to the graduands (degree recipients) attending the Convocation on 18.12.2024.

Important Instructions to the Participants

  1. Registration is applicable only for those candidates who applied online and is meant only for attendance verification on 18th December, 2024, at the registration desk from 08:00 to 09:00 AM and inside the auditorium during rehearsal.
  2. No on-the-spot registration is allowed.
  3. Refreshment near Registration counter at 08:10 to 08:30 AM on 18th December, 2024.
  4. All graduands must reach in proper Dress Code of the University Convocation.
  5. The University shall provide STOLE (only) through the vendor (third-party on applicable rent by the vendor) to the degree recipients to attend the University Convocation.
  6. It is mandatory for all the graduands to attend the rehearsal.
  7. Full Dress Rehearsal will take place inside the University Auditorium from 09:15 to 11:15 AM on 18th December, 2024.
  8. Lunch starts at 01:45 PM onwards in the lawns of SBBSIN (Through Coupon System only).
  9. Cameras, handbags, briefcases, any other items, or any kind of arms or objectionable articles will not be permitted inside the auditorium.
  10. Mobile Phones are not allowed inside the Auditorium.
  11. You are requested to be seated by 11:20 AM, and entry will be restricted after 11:30 AM on 18th December, 2024, inside the Auditorium.
  12. Do not leave the Convocation Hall until the Academic Procession departs.
