A national webinar was organised by Sant Baba Bhag Singh University Jalandhar, on 23-03-2021, to pay tribute to the great martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. The hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar accorded a warm welcome to the eminent resource persons and other attendees comprising students, research scholars and staff members. In his concise introduction, he paid his homage to the famous trio of martyrs who gladly kissed the the hangman’s noose and made light of their supreme sacrifice. Then followed a succession of talks on the subject by prominent scholars from various universities of india. They were : Dr. Raunki Ram and Dr. Parveen Kumar from Panjab University Chandigarh, Dr. Raj Kumar Hans from Baroda University, Prof. Gurbhajan Gill from Punjab Agriculture University Ludhiana, Dr. Bheem Inder Singh from Punjabi University Patiala, Dr. Kuldeep Singh from Kurukshetra University, Dr. Baljinder Nasrali from Delhi University, Prof. Sohinderbir Singh from Guru Nanak Dev University and the celebrated poetess, Inderjeet Nandan. The rich and insightful knowledge disseminated by such scholarly academicians left an indelible mark on the participants. The webinar thus achieved its purpose.
The event manager, Dr. Harpreet Singh (Deptt. of Punjabi) brought the webinar to its conclusion with his valedictory speech.
