Sant Baba Bhag Singh University organised webinar on the topic “Mastering Writing Skills”

Writing is the primary way business gets done in today’s cooperative world. When it’s done well, business gets done well. Well-written proposals lead to more revenue; clearly written memos and reports lead to deeper understandings; clever marketing materials boost marketplace reputation. But when writing is not done well, it creates a slew of business problems, weakening business performance and the end results. That’s why we believe it is the most important business skill.

Keeping this thought in mind, with the heavenly blessings of reverend Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Bramh Ji) and under the dynamic leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar-ViceChancellor, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, a webinar on“Mastering Writing Skills” was organized by Student Counselling Cell, SBBS University on 4th June 2021 for MBA and BBA students of the university. Resource person Ms. Surinder Kaur, Assistant Professor in the department of Professional Enhancement at CT University-Ludhiana took the live session of students and discussed the topics like Business letter writing, Cover letters, Resume writing, Notice, Agenda, MOMs, Report writing etc. to equip the students with writing skills before stepping into the industry. The programme commenced with the welcome address by Dr. Anju Sood, Associate Professor and University Student Counsellor. More than 90 students along with the Dean, COD, and faculty of University Institute of Management participated in the webinar. Institute Counselling Coordinators Mr. Jagteshwar Singh, Dr. Sarla Nirankari, Dr.Rajwant Kaur, Dr. Amrita also partook in this online programme.
Not only the students’ response but faculty feedback about the webinar was overwhelming. The programme was very interactive and informative. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by Co-convener of the programme Mr. Jagteshwar Singh.
